Kinston Police Department Makes Arrests in Armed Robbery on S. Davis Street
On December 5, 2024, at approximately 10:07 PM, officers with the Kinston Police Department (KPD) responded to a robbery report involving three victims at a party on the 300 block of S. Davis Street. The victims reported being robbed during the event, prompting an immediate investigation by KPD officers.
During the investigation, officers observed a vehicle attempting to leave the area and conducted a vehicle stop. The two passengers in the vehicle, Zaddie White (21, of Kinston) and Ezayvion Wynder (18, of Lenoir County), matched the description of the robbery suspects provided by the victims.
During the investigation, both White and Wynder were arrested without incident for Armed Robbery. Wynder was also charged with providing a false name to authorities during the arrest. Both individuals were placed in the Lenoir County Jail without bond.
The Kinston Police Department would like to express its gratitude to the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) Narcotics Unit and the SCARR team for their assistance during the investigation.
