APA students win individual regional championships in art contest

Congratulations to APA lower, middle, and upper school art teams’ performance in the North Carolina Association of Scholastic Activities Art Competition. 

APA lower school art team, coached by Mrs. Samantha Rouse, won first place in the North Carolina Association of Scholastic Activities Art Competition. Members: Bennett Brodish, Morgan Eskra, Abby McPhail, Annalise VanFosson, Carter Watson, Dylan White. Morgan Eskra, Abby McPhail, Carter Watson, and Dylan White won Individual Regional Championships.

Congratulations to APA middle school art team, also coached by Mrs. Samantha Rouse, for winning first place in the region against eleven other schools and will now move on to the state finals against the ten regional winners across the state on February 10th. Members: Charlie Blodgett, Grace Bofferding, Riley Everson, Tegan Grove, Daemyn Hort,  Harrison Kuszyk, Addison McCoy, Daniel VanFosson.

APA upper school art team, coached by Jana Miller, finished second in the region, and is moving on to the State Finals. Members: Rebecca Bailey, Jaylen Basden, Celia Casciello, Marianna Daniels, Izzy Earle, Miles Hulka, Tien Le, and Katy Ta.
