Massey Toyota is once again the Hole-In-One sponsor of this year’s Lenoir Community College Foundation Golf Classic on Thursday, May 16, at the Kinston Country Club. Massey Toyota will be at the tournament offering each golfer a chance to drive home a brand-new car.
This event has raised more than $600,000 toward student scholarships at LCC since its inception, and Massey Toyota has been a consistent supporter for the past several years. Over 130 golfers played in the tournament last year, and the Foundation is expecting an even better attendance this year.
This tournament is the largest fundraiser of the year for the LCC Foundation and helps support the general scholarship fund. Through events like the LCC Golf Classic, the LCC Foundation funded and awarded 240 scholarships last year.
Piggly Wiggly Fresh Buy, Spirit AeroSystems, West Pharmaceutical, Crown Equipment Corporation, Draken, Neuse News, WRNS, The Bryan Hanks Show, and numerous other local companies are all sponsors of this year’s event. Thanks to the monetary support of generous donors, the LCC Foundation is able to support hundreds of students with help paying for tuition, books and emergency loans.
