KPD announces passing of beloved canine

The Kinston Police reported the following on their Facebook page:

It is with great sadness that we report that one of our beloved retired canines passed away today. Police Canine Odin served our community from 2015 to 2022 before retiring.

Odin began his career in 2015 with his first partner, Officer James Best and in 2019, Officer Spencer Dunn took over as his K9 handler.

After retirement, Odin lived his best life under the care of Officer Spencer Dunn.
