Washington, D.C. – June 6, 2024 – Greene Early College High School has been ranked No. 231 in North Carolina among the 2024 Best High Schools by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings evaluate nearly 18,000 schools at the national, state and local level. 

“Greene Early College is a special place to learn and work. At Greene Early College High School, our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing an engaging and stimulating environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We aim to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to succeed during high school and in life after high school,” says Taylor Moore, principal at Greene Early College High School. The methodology focuses on six factors: college readiness; reading, math and science proficiency; reading, math and science performance; underserved student performance; college curriculum breadth; and graduation rates.
