Wilson County Sheriff’s Office deputies and LCSO detectives checked the residence and found Rouse inside. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Lenoir County Detention Center.

Rouse was charged with:

• Felony obtaining property by false pretense (Lenoir County)

• Felony failure to register as a sex offender (Jones County)

• Failure to appear in court — solicit by computer (Lenoir County)

• Failure to appear in court — possess methamphetamine (Lenoir County)

• Failure to appear in court — unsealed wine/liquor in passenger area (Lenoir County)

Rouse received a $31,000 secured bond.

The LCSO would like to thank the WCSO for their teamwork with Rouse’s arrest.
