Corrections Officer charged for bringing narcotics into Corrections Facility.

On 08/01/2024 around 7:30 am, Greene County Sheriff's Office Investigators arrested 24 year old Destiny Griggs of Stokes, at Maury Correctional. Griggs who was a Corrections Officer at the time, was searched by Maury Correctional Officials. The search resulted in an illegal substance known as K2, being located in Griggs possession. Prison Officials contacted the Greene County Sheriff's Office and Griggs was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance on Prison Premises and received a $5,000 bond.
