Obituary: Elizabeth "Betty" Deall

Elizabeth “Betty” Deall, 81, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024.

Services will be private.

Betty grew up in Long Island, New York and moved to Kinston in 1994. She was a supporter of the Lenoir County SPCA and loved Betty Boop and the New York Yankees. She was a loving wife, mother of three, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Elizabeth Prosceo; and her brother, John Prosceo.

Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, Henry Deall; daughters, Elizabeth Moody (Matthew) of Snow Hill, Linda Davitt (Willie) of Kinston; son, Michael Deall of Newberry, Florida; grandchildren, Shaun McMahon, Christopher McMahon (Lupe), Liam Davitt (Christopher), and Ashley Luksza (Jimmy); and great-grandchildren, Adryan, Danny, Emett, and Wyatt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lenoir County SPCA, PO Box 1481, Kinston NC 28503.
