Help Wanted: Advanced Practice Provider
As a member of the Lenoir County Health Department, you can make an impact! The Health Department is seeking candidates for an Advanced Practice Provider. Candidates in this class will provide services in all Lenoir County Health Department programs, including primary care, family planning, maternity, BCCCP, child health and sexually transmitted disease clinics. This position functions independently in areas of patient assessment, diagnosis, triage, and treatment. This is an advanced level of professional work in an environment that requires more independent judgment, in planning and maintaining total medical care for a patient.

Minimum Requirements:
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the North
Carolina Medical Board or approved to practice as a
Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife by the
North Carolina Board of Nursing and the North
Carolina Medical Board and one year of experience
as an APP.
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License
