Kinston Fire & Rescue: Building Fire at 800 W Lenoir

The Kinston Fire and Rescue Department responded to a fire in a two-story home that had been adapted into apartments at 800 W Lenoir Avenue. The fire had been broken up into three different apartments.

Crews arrived and found the fire in the wall due to the window A/C unit catching fire. There were no injuries. Three residents will be displaced due to having to secure the power.

The Kinston Department of Fire and Rescue is dedicated in placing the highest priority in serving the community to keep them and their property safe.  We value the community’s assistance in all matters dealing with life, safety, and fire prevention.
