KPD assists probation check, arrests felon with firearm and drugs

KPD officers on D-Squad responded to a residence on the 900 block of Savannah Lane at the request of The Department of Adult Corrections. KPD was requested to stand by while the Probation Officer conducted a residential check on Michael Stevens (22 years old). During the check, a firearm and ammunition were located. KPD officers charged Stevens with Possession of a Firearm by Felon and narcotic offenses. Stevens was placed in the LC Jail without bond.
