Weekend sees three arrests for driving while impaired
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, at around 8:46 p.m., Leonardo Orgas, 44, of Snow Hill, NC, was driving westbound in the eastbound lane of US Hwy 70 when he was stopped by KPD’s A-Squad. After an investigation, Orgas was arrested and charged with Driving While Impaired.
Later that evening, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Terry Lynch, 42, of Kinston, was pulled over for speeding and failing to maintain lane control on the 2600 block of W Vernon Avenue. An investigation revealed Lynch was impaired, leading to his arrest for Driving While Impaired.
On Monday, September 16, 2024, A-Squad officers stopped Gylen Bryan, 42, of Greenville, NC, for traffic violations. During the stop, officers noticed signs of impairment and conducted a DWI investigation. Bryan was found to be impaired and was arrested on charges of Driving While Impaired.
