SAFE in Lenoir and Greene County is proud to announce the 2024 Empowerment Luncheon, scheduled for Thursday, October 17th at the N.C. Cooperative Extension - Lenoir County Center.
This impactful event aims to raise awareness and support for survivors of domestic violence, featuring a powerful simulation experience that highlights the challenges faced by survivors.
The theme of this year’s luncheon, In Her Shoes: Living with Domestic Violence, offers attendees a unique and immersive opportunity to walk in the shoes of those who have experienced domestic abuse.
The program fosters empathy, understanding, and discussion around the importance of healthy relationships and community support.
