Lenoir County woman arrested for methamphetamine possession
On January 4, 2025, at approximately 7:02 PM, A-Squad officers initiated a traffic stop on Highway 70 due to fictitious registration. During the stop, officers conducted a K9 search of the vehicle, and KPD K9, Knox, alerted to the presence of narcotics inside.
Further investigation revealed that Andrea McCoy, a 49-year-old resident of Lenoir County, was in possession of methamphetamine. McCoy was subsequently arrested for possession of methamphetamine and transported to the Lenoir County Jail, where she received a secured bond.
