Grifton woman arrested for stabbing man during altercation
A Grifton woman was arrested Thursday night after stabbing a man with a kitchen butcher knife.
Christen Lau, 31, stabbed a 31-year-old man in his right arm so hard it entered the side of his chest. Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputies on C-Shift responded to 3934 Morris Drive in Lenoir County to discover the victim; he was transported by Lenoir County EMS to Kinston, where he received treatment at UNC Lenoir.
Lau was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and resisting a public officer. She was placed in the Lenoir County Jail with no bond; at her first appearance Friday, she received a $50,000 bond.
