Feb 18 Tuesday Update: Winter storm to impact eastern NC starting tomorrow

A Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory have been issued for most of Eastern North Carolina as a significant winter storm is expected to bring snow, sleet, and freezing rain starting tomorrow and continuing into early Thursday.

While confidence is high that wintry weather will impact the region, there is still uncertainty regarding the exact location and severity of the heaviest snow and ice accumulations. Small shifts in the storm’s track could lead to significant changes in precipitation type and totals.
