UNC Health Lenoir Welcomes New Chief Nursing Officer

UNC Health Lenoir is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Keri Noeske, as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. 

Dr. Noeske most recently served as Chief Nursing Officer at Kaweah Health in Vasalia, California where she has overseen all nursing care, resource allocation, and nursing practice standards across a multicampus health system. She has been recognized for multiple awards for excellence in leadership, strategic vision, and operational impact, including the Nursing Excellence in Leadership Award. Prior to her position at Kaweah Health, she held several leadership roles at Ascension Borgess Healthcare in Kalamazoo Michigan, served as a faculty member at University of Phoenix, Western Michigan University, and Kellogg Community College. Noeske holds a Master of Science Nursing, Master of Healthcare Administration, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. 

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Noeske to UNC Health Lenoir,” said Dr. Crystal Hayden, President and CEO. “Her extensive knowledge and dedication to high quality nursing practice will be an asset to our hospital and our community. I look forward to collaborating with Keri to ensure safe, patient centered healthcare at UNC Health Lenoir.”  

Dr. Noeske is married and has three sons, including two that are currently collegiate football players. She enjoys sports, traveling, hiking, reading, and walking her three dogs. She will join UNC Health Lenoir in late March.

“I am excited to join the team at UNC Health Lenoir and become a part of the community,” said Noeske. “I have a passion for rural community care and look forward to working with an organization committed to providing exceptional health care.”
