Kinston man arrested on cocaine trafficking charges after investigation

A month-long narcotics investigation by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, with help from the Kinston Police Department’s Violent Crimes Action Team (VCAT), resulted in the arrest of a Kinston man with multiple warrants for trafficking cocaine on Friday.

Dontresz Lashaun Hill, 36, was taken into custody after a traffic stop on N.C. 11/55 with the assistance of the LCSO patrol division. He had nine active arrest warrants for trafficking cocaine and is currently on federal probation for previous narcotics violations.

Hill received a $500,000 secured bond.
