Greene County Sheriff's Office investigating vehicle break-ins in Walstonburg
*****CRIME ALERT*****
On the morning of 03/11/2025, the Greene County Sheriff's Office received several reports in the Town of Walstonburg and surrounding area regarding vehicle break in's that occurred during the early morning hours.
The vehicle break in's were believed to have occurred sometime between 2:00 am and 4:00 am on 03/11/2025. During that time one video captured a slender figure wearing dark clothing entering one of the vehicles around 3:00 am. No vehicles were damaged during these incidents.
The Sheriff's Office is actively investigating these cases and requests that anyone with information contact the Greene County Sheriff's Office, 252-747-3411, gcso@greenecountync.gov or submit a tip on the Greene County Sheriff's Office Mobile App.
Sheriff Sasser would like to remind everyone to remove their valuables and lock their vehicles to help prevent being the victim of a crime.
