Napa Auto Parts suspect arrested
On March 3, 2025, officers from the Kinston Police Department responded to a theft at Napa Auto Parts on W Vernon Avenue. Security camera images were shared on the department’s Facebook page, and with the support of our community, the suspect was identified as Jason Moore, 42, of Lenoir County.
Detectives obtained a warrant for Moore on charges of larceny, and on March 10, 2025, he was taken into custody. The Kinston Police Department extends its gratitude to the community for providing crucial information and to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in apprehending Moore.
