La Grange man released from prison immediately arrested for meth trafficking in Lenoir County

A La Grange man was released from Sanford Correctional Center on Saturday and was then immediately arrested by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office for trafficking methamphetamine.

Logan Ray Potter, 30, was released from prison yesterday but after a five-month investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine throughout Lenoir County by the LCSO’s narcotics unit and the Kinston Police Department’s Violent Crime Action Team, he was taken back into custody.

Potter was arrested and charged with four counts of trafficking methamphetamine. He was then transported to the Lenoir County Jail, where he received a $50,000 secured bond.
