Lenoir County woman charged with meth distribution after release from prison

A Lenoir County woman went from being behind bars at the N.C. Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh on Tuesday to immediately being arrested by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office on methamphetamine charges.

Tricia Arnold, 37, was released Tuesday but then arrested by deputies with the LCSO’s Narcotics Unit. The arrest was the result of a narcotics investigation by the LCSO that involved the distribution of methamphetamine throughout Lenoir County.

Arnold was charged with:

·      Selling methamphetamine

·      Delivering methamphetamine

·      Possession with intent to manufacture or sell methamphetamine

·      Possession of methamphetamine

She was transported to the Lenoir County Jail, where she received a $32,500 secured bond.
