Piggly Wiggly Fresh buy returns as sponsor for LCC Golf Classic
The Lenoir Community College Foundation is proud to welcome back Piggly Wiggly Fresh Buy as a sponsor of this year’s annual LCC Golf Classic. Since its inception, this premier event has raised over $700,000 in support of student scholarships at LCC, and Piggly Wiggly Fresh Buy has been a loyal and valued supporter for many of those years.
Last year’s tournament hosted over 130 golfers, and the Foundation is expecting even greater participation this year.
Mark your calendars! The 2025 LCC Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, May 15, at the Kinston Country Club. As the largest fundraiser of the year for the LCC Foundation, proceeds from the tournament support the general scholarship fund. Thanks to events like this, the Foundation awarded 240 scholarships last year alone.
In addition to Piggly Wiggly Fresh Buy, this year’s sponsors include Massey Toyota, Spirit AeroSystems, West Pharmaceutical, Crown, Neuse News, WRNS, and many other generous local businesses. Their continued support enables the LCC Foundation to assist hundreds of students each year with the cost of tuition, books, and emergency loans.
