KPD apprehend suspect with concealed firearm in narcotic investigation
On July 22, 2023, the Kinston Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:
Officers from C-Squad encountered Jarviel Johnson (23) during a narcotic investigation. During the encounter, Officers located a concealed firearm, During the discovery of the firearm, Johnson began actively resisting. Johnson was arrested and placed in the LC Jail under a secured bond.
Charges: Felony Carrying Concealed Gun, Resist/Obstruct/Delay, & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
