Senator Brinson Appointed to Five Committees

Raleigh, N.C. – Senate Leader Phil Berger (R-Rockingham) appointed Sen. Bob Brinson (R-Craven) to five committees for the 2025-26 legislative biennium.

Sen. Brinson will serve on the following committees:

  • Agriculture, Energy, and Environment

  • Appropriations on Agriculture, Natural, and Economic Resources

  • Education/Higher Education

  • State and Local Government

  • Transportation

Legislative committees are the bedrock of the legislative process. They are where bills are debated, amended, and receive significant public input.

“Sen. Brinson is well-versed in the matters that will come before the committees he will serve on. I’m thankful for Sen. Brinson’s willingness to bring his expertise to the State and Local Government Committee, and I look forward to seeing the work he accomplishes this biennium for his constituents and the state,” Sen. Berger said.

Sen. Brinson said, “I am honored and privileged to continue representing the people of Beaufort, Craven, and Lenoir counties. These committee assignments will certainly allow me to advance the core values and priorities of Eastern North Carolina.”
