On New Year’s Eve, Stephanie Cherry was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Cherry works as a nurse for Community Care of North Carolina and attends 902 Church in Kinston. Stephanie’s husband works for DOT and they have three children, ages 14, 9 and 3. Immediately following the news, members of her church and the community began an effort to raise money for her medical costs and care.
