The magic day in much of Eastern North Carolina is the day our strawberry producers let us know that strawberries are ready!
To say the least, 2020 has been an unusual year. Despite all the new entrances and exits, rules and guidelines, our market has managed to survive for our farmers and craftsmen without catastrophe
This Saturday, we welcome as our guests, the Woodington FFA . The members will be selling red poinsettias and white ones, as well. Let's try to support their effort so they may raise dues money and tee shirts.
The Lenoir County Farmers Market is hosting SUPER SATUR DAY this Saturday, November 21st. Put on your mask and your jacket and join us, carefully observing the social distancing rules, and see what talented people are all around us. There will be craftsmen this week, showing their works; Christmas items, art, earrings, woven items and hemp products, shelled and unshelled pecans.
We sadly announce the passing of our friend and fellow vendor, Bruce Coley. We will all remember Bruce and his smiling face, his pea sheller and most of all his "come back "tomatoes. Rest in peace, Bruce
