Varin Worthington: Library Offers Full Schedule of Afterschool Programming

Back-to-school season is upon us, for parents that means returning to the hustle and bustle of getting the kids to school and reviewing homework, but for the Youth Services Librarians at Neuse Regional Libraries, it is time to gear up for the return of afterschool programs. This year, the library will be bringing back some tried and true classics while also launching new programs that will quickly become your child's favorites.

"I normally do not admit this, but I am originally from South Jersey," Morgan said. "I think most people have a preconceived idea of New Jersey, but the town I grew up in was rural with a strong agricultural base.  I think my upbringing helps me better understand the needs of a rural community, and the important role libraries play in providing access to resources and technology."
