Veterans' Roundtable: Kinston organizations sponsor events for Veterans Week
Walk of Honor, Kinston, NC.
November is an important month in the veterans’ community when we honor the service of our military veterans. While May is the official month for celebrating the contributions of the military and their families and our nation’s military dead, November provides an opportunity to honor those who have served in the U.S. military.
Through the military organization SALUTE, part of the GI Joe Living History Museum, a full week of events has been planned in Kinston. The events are scheduled to begin on Friday, November 3, and end on Sunday, November 12. The list of events is provided below.

On Veterans Day, remember - all gave some & some gave all
On this national holiday, I’d like to thank all of the men and women who have proudly served (or are still serving) our country. Have you thanked a Veteran today?
