Lenoir County Public Schools - Request for Quote - RFQ2024C- Refrigerated Equipment Maintenance and Repair
Lenoir County Public School’s Child Nutrition Department’s current refrigerated equipment maintenance and repair contract will expire on June 30, 2024. This Request for Quote is being released to allow eligible vendors an opportunity to submit a quote for our refrigerated equipment and repair needs.

Two state grants valued together at $28,000 will enrich the summer learning experience for LCPS middle school and high school students.
Lenoir Community College will hold its 62nd commencement at 7 p.m. May 9 in the Student Center with Paul Sugg, president of EastPoint Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. headquartered in Kinston as the guest speaker. Admission to the ceremony is by ticket only as seating is limited. More than 350 graduates are eligible to receive degrees.

Bethel Christian Academy (BCA) has announced that they have achieved accreditation by the North Carolina Christian School Association (NCCSA) effective May 1, 2024, for a term of five years. According to the press release received, NCCSA School Accreditation provides a benchmark for Christian schools which measures standards, performance, integrity, and quality.
Piggly Wiggly Fresh Buy is a Master sponsor of this year’s annual Lenoir Community College Foundation Golf Classic on Thursday, May 16, at the Kinston Country Club. This event has raised over $600,000 toward student scholarships at LCC since its inception, and Piggly Wiggly Fresh Buy has been a consistent supporter for the past several years. Over 130 golfers played in the tournament last year, and the Foundation is expecting an even better attendance this year.

Snow HIll – Greene County Schools hosted the 9th Annual STEM Expo on Thursday, April 25. This year the Expo was a multi-site experience with STEM students from Greene Central, GCMS, and GEC leading stations and sharing their creations. Students from West Greene, Snow Hill Primary, and Greene County Intermediate got a first-hand experience of what STEM looks and feels like later in their school career.
