From October 17 to 22, 2024, a total of 8,963 voters cast their ballots across various early voting sites, with daily participation reflecting patterns that suggest increased engagement during weekdays.

Dudley, a candidate for the North Carolina Senate from District 3, which includes Craven, Beaufort, and Lenoir counties, is drawing on a lifetime of service to advocate for the needs of his constituents. His opponent for the District 3 seat is incumbent Bob Brinson who took over the seat when Senator Jim Perry resigned this past July.
North Carolina State Representative Chris Humphrey is seeking re-election in 2024, running as an incumbent to retain his seat in the House. A lifelong Lenoir County resident, Humphrey has spent decades in public service and business, first as a town council member in La Grange, and later as a Lenoir County commissioner. Humphrey is now aiming to continue his tenure in the General Assembly.
