Lenoir County Public Schools is requesting professional design consultant services to provide full service for the design and construction administration of constructing an additional entrance, driveway, and parking lot at Pink Hill Elementary School. Submit qualifications by 4 p.m. on March 1, 2023. The official selection of the design consultant and approval will be determined following the receipt of proposals.
Nicole C. Croom, 79, of Kinston went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 6, 2023, at UNC Lenoir Health Care. A celebration of Nicole’s life will be held on Saturday, March 4, at 11:00 a.m., at Faith Fellowship Church, with visitation following the service.

On Tuesday morning, Feb. 21, I was blessed to be able to attend the Pastors Appreciation Breakfast sponsored by the Kinston Camp of Gideons International. The breakfast allows the Gideons to express appreciation for the support of local churches and to update those attending on the work of the Gideons both here at home and around the world.
Preparations are in full swing and Lenoir County 4-H is excited to bring Embryology curriculum into 25 classrooms in Lenoir County this year.
