The Lenoir County Board of Education is seeking to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education due to the resignation of Mr. Keith King, who resigned shortly before his appointment to fill a vacancy on the County Commissioners. The Board of Education is required to appoint an individual from District 2 who is of the same political party as Mr. King, a Republican.
