“A Snapshot of Kinston & Lenoir County During WWII,” Cliff Tyndall’s eagerly anticipated new book, will debut on Friday, May 10, with a series of activities hosted by the Queen Street Deli. The book signing will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Ruby Estelle Morton Pittman, 95, of Atlantic Beach formerly of Kinston passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at The Landings of Swansboro. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Garner Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin after the visitation with Pastor Chris Truett officiating. The burial will be held following the funeral service at Westview Cemetery.
