Student Spotlight Award winners honored at West Greene Elementary

Second-graders from West Greene Elementary were recognized as Greene County Schools Student Spotlight Award recipients recently. SNOW HILL - More than 20 second- and third-graders from West Greene Elementary earned recognition as Greene County Schools Student Spotlight Award winners recently.

Teachers selected the students based on the following criteria: leadership, citizenship, academic success and innovation.

Dr. Patrick Miller, superintendent of Greene County Schools, presented each student in attendance with a certificate.

Second-grade recipients were Abigale Beaman, Alley Butts, Kyler Davis, Alyssa Edwards, Ava Epps, Jayda Harper, Victoria Hill, Jazaria Hopkins, Sawyer Martinez, Gracie O'Briant and Rocky Robinson.

Third-grade recipients were Aaron Abrego-Sanchez, Isabella Bielby, Grettel Chavez-Zaragoza, Molly Combs, Amy Estrada-Piedra, Madison Evans, Jaliah Johnson, Z'Mariah Johnson, Emily Mata Rodriguez, Eli Shiosaky, X'Zarreia Taylor, Anna Grace Tilghman and Adriel Woods.
