Jones County officials give update on Hurricane Dorian preparations

On Tuesday evening Jones County leadership gave updates on what to expect over the next few days. County Chairman Mike Haddock, County Manager Franky Howard, Emergency Services Director Timmy Pike and Emergency Services Planner Sissy Mills discuss Wednesday's State of Emergency, shelter opening and more.

Here are the 5 locations for Jones County Emergency Shelter bus route pickups:
1. Davis Chapel Mission Baptist Church Hwy 58 S Maysville (Long Point) - - 4 pm pick up will be there 45 minutes
2. Maysville Elementary School -- 5 pm pick up will be there 45 minutes
3. Pollocksville Elementary School - 4 pm pick up will be there for 45 minutes
4. Comfort Elementary School - 4 pm pick up will be there for 45 minutes
5. Pilgrim Home Church (Wyse Fork Rd/Burkett Rd) - 4 pm pick up will be there 45 minutes
