Lenoir County Board of Education to hold Special Meeting
The Lenoir County Board of Education will convene a called special meeting on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 6 p.m. at the Board of Education office at 2017 W. Vernon Ave., Kinston. The meeting will be conducted in a face-to-face format. Social distancing and all appropriate safety protocol steps will be in place. Seating will be available for limited numbers of the public who wish to attend in-person. If necessary, attendance will be restricted to ensure the Board remains in compliance with the current safety protocols in place.
In addition to the seats provided in the Board room, the public and news media can also view the meeting live by accessing the following website beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, January 10.
There will be a sign-up sheet outside the Board room prior to the start of the meeting for members of the public who wish to participate in the public comment portion of the meeting. Each person is limited to one public comment per meeting of no more than 3 minutes in length.
