Man arrested for break-in at Banks Elementary School

A man was arrested Friday by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office for a break-in at Banks Elementary School that occurred Oct. 27.

Anthony Carlyle was taken into custody and received multiple charges Friday following the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Hill Family Lane. He was charged with the following:

·      Breaking and entering

·      Larceny after breaking and entering

·      Second degree trespassing

He was also charged with an unrelated break-in on Paul’s Path Road. He received a secured bond for all the charges.
