Dan Perry: Biden's mismanagement, concerns grow over nation's future
Earlier this week, I received a handwritten letter from Senator John Kennedy regarding the unstable conditions of our country, which was highly critical of the Biden administration. Here's how it started out:
Our country was founded by geniuses... but it's being run by idiots who don't behave in the same "America First," safe borders, common-sense economic problems that you and I and sane Americans do.
I'll go one step further... the Democrats, under the leadership of Joe Biden, have mismanaged COVID, mismanaged the border, mismanaged crime, foreign policy, Afghanistan, and have declared war on parents who simply don't want their children indoctrinated by woke propaganda. Not to mention creating the worst inflation in 40 years!
I happen to wholeheartedly agree with Senator Kennedy! During President Trump's short term, he rebuilt the U.S. military, defended the First and Second Amendments, kept our soldiers safe and out of war, made America energy independent, created a booming economy, secured our borders, kept taxes down, defended our traditional American and family values – just to name a few of his accomplishments.
And what about President Biden? He has (either through ignorance or by intention) torn down and overturned all the good that Trump put into place. I heard two commentators sadly agree that they could not think of one good thing Biden has done. Maybe some of you readers can.
If you can, please list three of Biden's accomplishments that make America a strong nation. If not three, then two, and if you can't think of two, just one thing he's done to make America better.
I have yet to hear a reasonable and sensible argument in favor of open borders!
I have yet to hear a reasonable and sensible argument in favor of making America energy dependent.
I have yet to hear a reasonable and sensible argument in favor of defunding the police and being weak on crime, to name just a few.
I'm neither a Republican nor a Democrat – I'm registered as nonaffiliated. Someone, please tell me why I should even consider voting for Biden or any other Democrat in the next election! I'm just seeking to know the truth!
