Help wanted: Lenoir County - IT Technician
As a member of the Lenoir County Information Technology Department, you can make a difference! The IT Department is seeking candidates for an IT Technician. Candidates work involves providing support to Lenoir County employees in all areas of Information Technology. This position provides testing of new applications, troubleshooting problems with equipment, software and network issues. Candidates for employment must be comfortable with heavy public contact via in person, telephone and e-mail. Employees in this classification must have considerable knowledge of the installation of hardware and new software applications.

Minimum Requirements:
• Graduate from high school or a two-year college program with a major in Information Systems
• Ability to perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.)
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
• Pass a criminal background check
