As a member of the Department of Social Services with Lenoir County Government, you can make a difference! The agency is seeking candidates for a County Social Services Business Officer I. Candidates in this classification have an immense responsibility to the agency. A Business Officer is responsible for the organization and supervision of fiscal and budgetary operations of the agency. An Employee in this class must have thorough knowledge of principles and practices of public and business administration, and have the ability to analyze problems relating to state programs and make recommendations for new or revised procedures to division supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree from an Accredited University or four years of administrative experience involving the preparation of budgetary programs for government entities.
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
• Pass a criminal background check
• Must be of Good Moral Character
