Teen arrested in La Grange for firearm larceny Sunday

An 18-year-old was arrested Sunday on Mays Store Road in La Grange for larceny of a firearm.

Logan Mosez Garcia, of La Grange, was issued the larceny charge, along with a charge of possession of a stolen firearm, after Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence on Karhu Lane on a call Sunday afternoon.

Less than 90 minutes later at a few minutes after 5 p.m., Garcia was taken into custody when deputies located him and the stolen firearm at a Mays Store Road residence. He was transported to the Lenoir County Detention Center, where he was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
