Kinston man arrested for DWI, Hit and Run after vehicle collides with structure
On Sunday, December 8, 2024, at approximately 8:27 PM, officers from A-Squad responded to a report of a vehicle that had collided with a structure. A witness at the scene reported that the driver fled the area after the collision.
Officers canvassed the area and located the suspect, Daquan Wade, 29, of Kinston and the vehicle involved. Upon contact, officers observed signs of impairment and initiated a DWI investigation. Wade was subsequently arrested and charged with Driving While Impaired (DWI) and Hit & Run.
Wade was processed and taken into custody at the Lenoir County Jail, where he received a secured bond.
