Help wanted: Lenoir County Government Health Department - Administrative Assistant II
As a member of the Lenoir County Government Health Department, you can make a difference! The Health Department is seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant II. Candidates in this classification provide a high level of direct administrative and clerical support to several departments within Public Health. Characteristics of this position are the involvement in and assistance provided in the direction, coordination and/or planning of departmental operations. This position will directly be supervising seven (7) Processing Assistant V’s to ensure the efficient functioning of this Management Support Section of the Lenoir County Health Department. Employees in this classification must understand the ethics of confidentiality as required by North Carolina General statutes and Lenoir County Health Department policies and procedures, along with HIPAA guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of progressively responsible clerical experience
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
• Pass a criminal background check
• Must be of Good Moral Character
