Juvenile charged with possession of a stolen vehicle
On Friday, July 5, 2024, A-Squad Officers received information related to a stolen vehicle being driven around Kinston. The vehicle had previously been reported stolen to Green County Sheriff's Office. Officers located the vehicle on the 1500 block of Dr. MLK Jr Blvd and made contact with the driver, (17 year old juvenile from Kinston) and took him into custody. With the assistance of Green County Sheriff's Office, the juvenile was transported to Green County and released to a parent.
KPD Officers are working with Juvenile Justice to obtain Juvenile Petitions.
