Help Wanted: Social Work Program Manager
As a member of the Department of Social Services with Lenoir County Government, you can make a difference! The agency is seeking candidates for a Social Work Program Manager. Candidates in this classification have an immense impact on our community. The Social Work Program Manager must provide structure, coordinate, administer and manage the Child Welfare Division which provides protective services for juveniles that are abused, neglected or dependent. These services include assessments, in-home services, adoption, and foster care services. Employees in this class must have considerable knowledge of methods and principles of casework supervision and training, social work principles, techniques and practices and the application to specific casework and community problems. Skill in supervising, training, or orienting lower-level social workers, students, interns, or other staff. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and execute work effectively.

Minimum Requirements:
• Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work and three years of social work or counseling experience, two of which were in a supervisory capacity
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
• Pass a criminal background check
• Must be of Good Moral Character
