On 4-8-2024 AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Chapter 1111 was chartered at GI Joes Military Museum in Kinston North Carolina. This is the First AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary in Kinston. The Members were sworn in by State Department Chair Doreen Wilburn and Registered by the State Secretary Linda Bonin.

The seventh annual Stew & Brew fundraiser held by GI Joe’s Military Living History Museum is selling advanced discounted tickets for Eastern Carolina Fish Stew for $10 and can be purchased at GI Joe’s Military Living History Museum, Mother Earth Brewing Tap Room, and Big Game Brewing. The event will be on Saturday, March 13, 2021 with same-day tickets for sale for $15.
G.I. Joe’s Military Living History Museum is sponsoring its first ever Sloppy Joe fundraiser. The event is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. through 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019.
