The Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library is proud to present a performance by the talented and accomplished jazz pianist Le’Andra McPhatter this Thursday, June 20 at 6:30 p.m. Le’Andra will be backed by Dwayne Jordan on drums and Butler Knowles on bass.

Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library is trying to help teens find a place they feel comfortable to socialize and do some of the things they love with others who have the same interests.
The Library’s new Strategic Plan includes an objective to “…include members of the population who have been previously unreached.” I traveled with a co-worker to the McKimmon Center at NC State to take part in a Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) in order to support this objective.
The library hosted the 2019 Southeast Regional workshop of the Friends of North Carolina Public Libraries.
