The Neuse Regional Library will be at the Lenoir County Farmers Market on Saturday, September 12 from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m., to share online genealogical resources Heritage Quest and Ancestry.com. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for library cards and check out items from a selection of popular materials.

The Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library invites families to register for our annual Summer Reading Program. They will be at the Farmers Market on Saturday, July 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They will handing out craft bags for children and providing information about the Library and its programs and resources!
The pork skin man will be here every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday! We are making plans for the upcoming spring, summer and fall market seasons and for the Festival on the Neuse, which will be held, as usual, on the first weekend in May. Also, plans are underway for an exciting new EBT program.

We are at the height of our summer vegetable season and boy, are these vegetables delicious. Sweet corn in white, bi-color and yellow is everywhere and is super delicious. You can buy it shucked or unshucked! And butter beans are a little scarce, but Bruce has some shelled but it's just been too hot. Get your pink-eye peas and they are already shelled.
Join us on Saturday between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. to support your local farmers, beekeepers and craftsmen. Tuesday's market will be open between 8 a.m. and 2 a.m. and has produce only this Tuesday. The pork skin man is on vacation.
Wild Bill Tilghman has been promoted!! This Saturday you will find him and his garden bounty in the first section of the market. He will be there with the Smiths, the Coleys and the Pork Skin Man. Stop by to see him there.
