Farmer's market update for July 11, 2020

The Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library invites families to register for our annual Summer Reading Program. They will be at the Farmers Market on Saturday, July 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They will handing out craft bags for children and providing information about the Library and its programs and resources!

Lenoir County Farmer's Update for 1-18-2020

The pork skin man will be here every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday! We are making plans for the upcoming spring, summer and fall market seasons and for the Festival on the Neuse, which will be held, as usual, on the first weekend in May. Also, plans are underway for an exciting new EBT program.

Farmer's market update for 07/13/2019

We are at the height of our summer vegetable season and boy, are these vegetables delicious. Sweet corn in white, bi-color and yellow is everywhere and is super delicious. You can buy it shucked or unshucked! And butter beans are a little scarce, but Bruce has some shelled but it's just been too hot. Get your pink-eye peas and they are already shelled.

Goodbye to asparagus and henpeck, but hello to sharp head cabbage, broccoli, turnip roots with tops, fresh green onions, strawberries, Florida tomatoes, fresh eggs, local honey, pork skins and rinds, fried peanuts, local crafts and the following specialty vegetables from Brothers Farm.
