Dr. Robert Lee West passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 in the UNC-Lenoir County Hospital in Kinston, North Carolina. A memorial service will be held at Hooker Memorial Christian Church, 1111 Greenville Boulevard, SE in Greenville, North Carolina, at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the memorial service, from 2 PM to 3 PM, in the Fellowship Hall.
Marie Slot Singleton, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024. Family, friends, and others whose lives Marie touched are invited to a visitation at Faith Fellowship Church, 2278 Paul's Path Road, Kinston, NC from 12:30 - 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Funeral services will follow at the same location at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery in Kinston.
Mrs. Scarlette Hinnant Stovall, 50, lost her courageous battle with cancer and won her place in heaven with her Heavenly Father. Scarlette passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. The service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday at 2 PM at Christ Church, 745 Davenport Farm Road, Winterville, NC. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the church.
